Coverstar participates in Latham Pool Builder Academy

Twice a year, Latham organizes the Pool Builder Academy to give pool builders from around the country an opportunity to receive hands on experience while helping build a pool from start to finish in 3 ½ days.  Those that attend the academy vary in their experience within the pool industry.  Some are new pool builders who are just starting out.  Others are working in pool service and want to learn and expand into the construction side of the business.  Regardless of their experience level, they come with a desire to learn and a willingness to work hard to build a pool.  

This most recent academy was held Oct 10-14 in Pell City Alabama.  The recipient of the pool was Grace Harbor, a women’s drug and alcohol rehabilitation center.  As the project came to a close just before lunch on the 4th day, we had the opportunity to have pictures and visit with the women who are residents at Grace Harbor.  They were absolutely thrilled with the pool and very appreciative that we, along with the other companies involved, donated the pool and cover system.

The Pool Builder Academy has given Coverstar the opportunity to, not only give back to the community, but it has also allowed us to meet many new pool builders and let them see our products first hand.<
